@ Horváth-Militicsi Attila - Have you visited our Facebook Fanpage recently? Anthony Baldwin, who is a Portuguese translator has just mentioned that no language can beat Portuguese in terms of number of words or expressions available to express love and affection.

I am not sure if he is ready to believe that Hungarian is far beyond French...... What do you have to say?

Yes, it is but not the only one !
Hungarian has so much more synonyms for these, that with only 5-6 words, you can make an epic poem - at least, if you take in account that there are actually some 1.5 million words, and each word can have 10,000 (ten thousand) forms per word and even more significations.
So French is so poor in comparison with Hungarian - whatever one would like to say.
And who says that ? Well a Hungarian and Belgian secondary school French Language and Literature teacher :-)
